The Simplification Lead will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting accounting simplification initiatives.

What you will be responsible for

Support Partner with global stakeholders to establish strategic and tactical solutions a
Acting as key driver and contact point for accounting simplification
Lead change resource pool to ensure team drives strategy and execution towards company’s and functions strategic goal. Engage, Mmanage and motivate assigned support groups of project managers and business individuals within the area of responsibilities
Partner with various stakeholders in Accounting to establish a robust process around identification and prioritisation of the initiatives
Maintain an enhanced communication strategy in order to provide greater transparency around delivery to all key stakeholders
Understand and clearly communicate priorities on all initiatives within your program, with robust reporting and metrics to drive and reflect progress and success
Maintain governance structure of to enable translation of objectives into initiatives, drive program progress and escalate risks, issues and solutions Work with colleagues transformation and PMO, to establish a robust process around identification and prioritisation of the initiativesme
Manage supporting teams to deliver regular reporting

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Min. 10+ years of relevant work experience (direct involvement in managing transition portfolio globally strongly preferred, background in accounting operations required)
Experience working in a large, global financial services industry or similar organizations
Advanced project management skills
Proven leadership and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with an executive audience
Ability to coach and develop a high performing staff
Appreciation of multicultural work environment
Ability to work across global time zones as required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, full English proficiency
