This role in summary

Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our Global Human Resources organization. This position provides deep functional expertise to support the delivery of Benefits (i.e. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Prescription, and employee assistance programs), including responding to escalated inquiries or data management cases. Position delivers the strategy designed by the Benefits Center of Excellence (CoE) through the execution of activities requiring deep functional knowledge. The position also performs vendor management activities for benefits administration vendors, including issue resolution and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) monitoring.

Your responsibilities will include

•     Resolve issues requiring deep functional expertise escalated from the service center in terms of Health Benefits
•    Provide project management associated with Health Benefit programs
•    Interface with benefits vendors and administration outsourcers regarding individual Employee claims/cases
•    Provide feedback and recommendations regarding the impact of benefit changes on Human Resources (HR) Ops operations and systems
•    Review audit reports ensuring appropriate payroll deductions for Health Benefits
•    Provide and compile benefit data for provider reporting, operational reporting, benefit forecasting, and benefits planning
•    Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures, and technologies
•    Support the Benefits CoE in implementing benefits strategy related to Health Benefits
•    Develop reports of the cost analysis of implementing specific benefits plans in comparison to the competitive landscape
•    Liaise with external vendors, and internal Legal teams to finalize contract and Statement of Work (SOW) requirements

Minimum requirements

•     Bachelor’s Degree 
•    3+ years of experience in Human Resources
•    Experience with Benefits Administration

•     Experience in relevant government health and welfare policies, compliance acts, and legislation 
•    2+ years of experience in HR Operations
•    1+ years of experience in Project Management
