As an Electrical Engineer in Austin, TX, you’ll be using your design and analysis skills, to plan and design electrical systems for buildings and facilities, including commercial and industrial projects. This will include designing full electrical systems, including power, lighting, fire alarm, and associated controls. You’ll be responsible for providing system design calculations and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering) under the guidance of more senior technical staff.
You’ll also take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.?

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 8 years of experience working for a MEP firm
• Revit, 3D AutoCAD or equivalent
• Professional Engineering (PE) license?
• Experience creating design documents for data centers, semiconductor fabrication plants, power generating plants, emergency power and mission critical systems
• Medium voltage distribution projects preferred.
• Experience utilizing SKM and ETAP
