Position Summary:

This role will be responsible for inventory analysis and costing, fixed asset maintenance, the tracking of capital projects, and assisting in general accounting processes related to financial KPI reporting, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations for our two facilities in Decatur, AL and Martinsburg, WV. 

Essential Functions:

· Assist in the creation of Annual Budgets and monthly financial Outlooks.

· Update key financial reports during the month for reporting purposes, including updating month-end metrics for monthly operation reviews and compiling the Top 5 Accounts review.

· Provide fixed assets analysis and maintenance through capital project management.  This would include performing asset inventory audits as required, providing routine updates to project managers on capital project spend, capitalizing assets at completion of capital projects, completing monthly and quarterly reporting associated with FRIDA and month-end reconciliations, and putting together the annual personal property state filings that are required.

· Performing sales reconciliation on a daily and monthly basis.  To include performing ad-hoc analysis as required on sales mix.

· Oversee the tracking of freight charges, including identifying amounts that need to be accrued during the month-end process.

· Manage the accrual processes pertaining to key customer sales and the general business expenses that occurred through Concur or purchase card transactions.

· Provide weekly and month-end direct labor information through a performance analysis on a bi-weekly basis.

· Assist in the month-end closing process by making general accounting and non-repeating journal entries, and compiling month-end supporting documents in a binder.

· Ownership of the SuTax monthly reporting process.

· Perform additional tasks as required, such as ad-hoc analysis to understand fluctuations in the business.

Qualifications:

· Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required

· 2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

· Ability to communicate in person and remotely in effective and efficient manner.

· Strong computer skills required; to include Excel proficiency.
