We currently have an entry level staff accountant position opening in the Controller’s Department located at our Corporate Headquarters in Providence, RI.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the SEC filing process including preparation of disclosures, coordinating review of support with external auditors and performing balance sheet analytics
Assist with the quarterly XBRL tagging/proofing review
Prepare quarterly updates to reporting templates and correspondence for business units and manage distribution of materials for quarterly closing calls with each business unit
Manage the quarterly management representation/certification letters process
Responsible for assigned corporate entity ledger, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist with the preparation and periodic updates of the internal control documentation for the Financial Reporting process
Assist with technical accounting and SEC reporting research, including peer company analysis and other special projects as needed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
Finance/accounting internship experience preferred
