Location: 50% remote- Hybrid (Must be within commutable distance to Anthem Office location)

Please note: This position may be filled at either the Systems Analyst level I or II. The Hiring Manager will determine level based upon the selected applicant's skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

Systems Analyst I:

Responsible for the definition of the functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:   

Defines both the functional and non-functional requirements of a system and acts as a liaison between the business and IT. 
Creates and executes feature test cases and ensures feature testing effectively validates that the system meets the functional and non-functional requirements.  
Assists in the translation of the business requirements into implementation details and ensures design meets performance, usability, reliability, and scalability requirements in addition to the functional requirements. 
Develops and updates requirement artifacts, system process flows,  FRS (Functional Requirement Specification), Use Cases, and associated diagrams.
Provides support during the integration and acceptance testing phases and implementation. 
Provides training and procedure development support to operational projects as requested. 
Analyzes data from the databases and creates the system / functional documentation necessary.

Systems Analyst II

Responsible for assisting in defining the project scope and managing the defined scope.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 

Defines the functional, usability, reliability, performance, and support requirements of a system serves as a business subject matter expert, and act as a liaison between the business and IT. 
Provides the link between the technical and the business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. 
Leads system requirements definition, design, testing, training and implementation support. 
Applies use of tools to define requirements and documentation. 
Provides analysis of efficiencies related to system enhancements/automation. 
Works with IT learning organization to assist in the development of system training documentation and provides training to end users.

Analyzes data from the databases and creates the system / functional documentation necessary.
Assists with developing use cases. 

Qualifications

Systems Analyst I
 
Minimum Requirements:

Requires AA/AS degree in computer science or information systems or related field of study.

Preferred Qualifications:

1-year experience in systems engineering, system testing, or systems analysis experience strongly preferred.  
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, independent ownership, and quick learning 
Good requirement articulation, coordination & organization skills are strongly preferred
Possess strong analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
Prior experience in working Agile / Scaled Agile delivery model

Systems Analyst II

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and minimum of 1-year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, independent ownership, and quick learning 
Good requirement articulation, coordination & organization skills are strongly preferred
Possess strong analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.

Prior experience in working Agile / Scaled Agile delivery model.
