This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with major capital infrastructure transit/rail projects for our clients.
The applicant will have demonstrated experience in leading transit/rail major pursuits and the delivery of major programs. The objective of the position is to lead, pursue, develop and execute major projects required to deliver client programs within established and agreed budgets and schedules, thereby expanding AECOM’s reputation as the preferred transit/rail service consultant in the industry.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Lead development and execution of significant rail/transit including light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high speed rail, and/or bus rapid transit surface, aerial or underground project pursuits and delivery
Establish relationships with major transit agencies throughout the western US including UTA, Valley Metro, RTD, Houston METRO, LA Metro, CTA, and Metra.
Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally
Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing and preparing transportation project teams.
Proven track record with large client account management, major-project pursuits, and engineering/planning staff development
A desire to work with external contractors/consultants, AECOM’s other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients
Minimum Requirements
The candidate must have over 12 years' experience in leading engineering projects with major-project management experience.
BSCE required in Civil Engineer
PE license in one or more states in the western US or ability to obtain.

Ability to scope/estimate complex projects
Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience
Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction
Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role
Provide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management.
