Job Description

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES –

Perform daily- weekly- monthly- and yearly cycle counts and inventory verifications of raw- packaging- and WIP materials in designated areas across the plant. Post cycle counts daily- weekly- monthly- and yearly. Review- update- and create job aides and SAP and the SAP training. Review- investigate- develop- and implement corrective actions for variances related to cycle counts. Validate daily production of WIP and Finished Goods in SAP. Monitor and validate the movements of inventory from the warehouse to production and production to the warehouse. Clean up discrepancies in the back locations.  Ensure back locations are cleared daily and weekly.  Review Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Resources in SAP for accuracy. Review and validate material discrepancies related to cycle counts- good receipts- good issues (i.e. works with operation and warehouse cycle counts for resolution). Monitors and corrects material movement errors (i.e. COGI- ZPROD- and ZCON- etc.) Works closely with Operations- Logistics Crew Leader- Finance- and Warehouse Cycle Counters. Reports directly to Production & Inventory Control Manager. Performs any other duties as required. Food Safety Team Member In addition to the following- employees are responsible for understanding the relevance and importance of the individual’s activities in contributing to food safety- and reporting situations that may impact food. Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) standards as outlined in the plant’s QRMP accountability document- including the implementation- improvement and ongoing maintenance.
