About you

Using in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge, owns a moderately sized portfolio of solutions and systems (applications) and manages its lifecycle - analysis, design, implementation/adoption, optimization, and end-of-life retirement of digital solutions, delivering advanced functional and business capabilities. Works hand-in-hand with a multi-disciplinary IT expert team (analysts/designers/developers/support) to deliver innovative digital solutions. Performs a functional and technical requirements analysis – with emphasis on experience, simplification, automation, efficiency, reliability. Oversees the development, optimization, implementation and adoption of solutions leveraging best-in-class mobile, web, desktop, cloud technologies. Identifies opportunities for innovating with digital capabilities aiming to accelerate Dow’s digital transformation.

Also, you can complete each of the following tasks:

Requirements Analysis – Uses in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in order to explore, analyze, and map business and function requirements.
Experience Mapping - Using knowledge of best practices, maps user journeys, user experience, user stories (user features) to facilitate employee experience (EX) / customer experience (CX) transformation.
IT Solution/Application/System – drives the full solution lifecycle, including functional / technical design – solution architecture, buy vs make decisions – integration of third-party off-the-shelf software, develops / integrates / tests / builds solutions – with ability to operate in both waterfall and agile environment , ensures compliance to corporate standards, architecture guidelines, and information security policies.
Supports implementation and user adoption and impacts a range of customer, operational, and project activities.
Support – Independently selects and defines supplier and team support models.
Performance - Defines controls, measures and KPIs for solution performance and reliability.
End-to-End Integration – Coordinates with other Business Process Managers and Solutions Managers for end-to-end process optimization and integration.
Roadmaps – Defines a solution(s) portfolio improvement and innovation roadmap with proper sequencing and prioritization of projects; Help assess resource, technology, investment needed in delivering against the roadmap.
Assists Sr. Solution Manager with workload analysis for team to ensure proper resource alignment for capacity planning.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree OR at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class (PO2/Sgt) Military ranking
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of SAP Production Operations Management
Knowledge of integration between SAP and Non-SAP Applications
Proven project leadership.
Understanding of Dow businesses and work processes.
Ability to build and foster relationships to drive integration and cross-team decisions.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize and manage work load.
Ability to lead and resolve complex problem situations and technical issues.
Ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams without compromising existing service levels customer satisfaction rate.
Ability to learn new processes and tools quickly.
