Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Performs basic driving functions safely and effectively while to operating crude oil/product transport trucks
Connects hoses between trailer and unloading/loading facility and monitors unloading/loading process
Inspects trucks and trailers per DOT requirements (brakes, engine oil, water levels, lights, loading hoses, etc.)
Masks-up and wears fresh air breathing equipment or self-contained breathing apparatus, when necessary
Climbs storage tank stairs (may be up to 32’ in height) while carrying gauging tray with gauging equipment
Gauges tanks and tests crude oil
Operates on-board computer equipment to record data
Observes and complies with FMCSA regulations, federal, state, and local regulations, and any other applicable regulation, policy or law, at all times.
Masks-up and wears fresh air breathing equipment or self-contained breathing apparatus when necessary
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
High School diploma or equivalent
CDL License with hazmat and tanker endorsements
Pass criminal, drug, and driving record screenings, a Fit-for-Duty Screening, and DOT physical
Demonstrates a positive impact by promoting safety in decisions and actions
Crude oil hauling experience credited to enhanced starting pay
Demonstrated positive impact by promoting safety in decisions and actions
Preferred:
Minimum of 2 years tanker transport experience
FMCSA top rated fleet maintenance program

The Supply and Logistics segment engages in merchant-related activities, including purchase of crude oil, as well as NGL from producers, refiners, processors, and other marketers; storage of NGL and natural gas; and resale and transport of crude oil and NGL.
It owned 15 million barrels of crude oil and NGL linefill; 4 million barrels of crude oil and NGL linefill in pipelines owned by third parties and other inventory; 750 trucks and 900 trailers; and 9,100 crude oil and NGL railcars. The company offers logistics services, principally for crude oil, NGLs, and natural gas. PAA GP Holdings LLC operates as a general partner of the company.
