Summary:
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for working with our sales and billing teams to provide timely and accurate invoices to our clients. In addition, the Pricing Analyst creates ad hoc reports for forecasting, accruals, etc. as requested by sales or billing management. Responsibilities include: applying client specific pricing to invoices, resolving questions on invoices, ad hoc reports as needed, and providing excellent customer service. This position will report to the Senior Pricing Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Provide preliminary invoices to sales daily
Work with sales to finalize invoices
Create cumulative cost analysis files for ongoing deals
Develop strong working knowledge of regional customer base and company organizational structure
Be responsible for invoice adjustments
Update and apply customer specific pricing to projects
Create and update rate templates for clients
Work with operations and sales to provide monthly forecast and accrual reports
Work with internal departments (Customer Service, Billing, Sales) to research issues, and provide support in obtaining additional information
Ensure appropriate approvals and documentation is received
Support training and process improvement effort
Achieve Awaiting Sales Approval, DSO, and any other pricing-related goals
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent work experience strongly preferred
4+ years of successful experience in accounts payable or financial print industry
Desired Skills:
Must be able to work during Eastern Time Zone hours
Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
Excellent customer communication skills with high proficiency in speaking and writing
Excellent problem solving, and customer service skills
Excel data skills
Ability to familiarize and learn proprietary invoicing system quickly
Functional knowledge of the accounts receivable and collections processes
Highly organized with strong follow-up, documentation, and multitasking skills
