Who are we looking for

We’re looking for a Senior Converse Information Security Engineer. This role will join a team of technical experts committed to improvement in building an outstanding security technical advisory and thought-leadership organization providing outstanding and practical, technical and logistical direction to its internal customers; enabling Converse to move and innovate rapidly while minimizing risks to the Brand. We are focused is in the areas of Security Engineering, Secure Development Lifecycle Management, Application Security, Cloud Security, Risk and Compliance, and Business to Business Security within Converse Business Units. We work in conjunction and as a broader capability through our partnership and extension of the Nike Information Security Team. As such, strong communication, leadership, relationship building and problem-solving skills are a must.

What Will You Work On

If this is you, you’ll be working with Corporate Information Security - Converse Cybersecurity team and perform these key tasks:

Provide critical input and guidance to ensure that Converse Technology is aligned appropriately with Nike Corporate Information Security when considering key priorities such as business requirements, industry threat landscape, and risk appetite of Nike, Inc.
Work closely with Converse Technology end-to-end in releasing secure and compliant infrastructure, applications and experiences at the speed of business.
Serve our consumer, by working closely with Converse Technology partners to deliver end-to-end secure and compliant infrastructure, applications, and experiences at the speed of business.
Perform and deliver threat models and security assessments for new and existing application environments across the Converse Technology landscape. Through this process identify and consult on security control implementation.
Partner with business, technology, and global teams to establish program building security strategy and provide expert security guidance in shifting left the security process.
Consult with both technology, business and Nike teams to identify priorities and security capability requirements. Develop strategy to incorporate these requirements into the security program.
Collaborate with teams in Global CIS, to identity controls and remediation of risks for processes which may be unique to the Converse business.
