Accountabilities
Work closely with GPO and finance leaders to define future process designs and to align future processes to digital tools on CAH’s digital roadmap
Identify opportunities to expand the digital roadmap through incorporation of new/other leading digital tools to enable the finance vision and deployment strategy
Champion user experience across finance and the business finance serves
Drive large-scale improvement initiatives through finance leadership and partnership engagement, providing project management and change management expertise
Develop recommendations for technical vision and strategy in partnership with GPO team members from a business requirements and solution design perspective
Conduct research and development on new and innovative ways to deliver Finance capabilities
Own the test and learn process, leveraging agile methodologies to apply to rapid innovation
Lead the identification, due diligence, and innovation of integrated technology for Finance through optimization practices and partnerships with finance leaders and employees
Expand digital capabilities by staying informed / trained on new best in class technologies and options for the FP&A space
Bring together a marketplace leading practices and Cardinal needs to determine “best fit” solutions for the organization
Ongoing review of business requirements across the enterprise to define opportunities for digitization
Blend financial acumen and best in class digital capabilities’ perspectives to support PTF/Analytics and Management Reporting GPOs
Partner to drive overall implementation of digital capabilities across enterprise-wide FP&A to enable the realization of long-term FP&A vision at Cardinal
Partner with GPO team members to assess ongoing transformations across the organizations to drive seamless integration across multiple functions and technologies
Cross-functional Business Partnering with Other CAH Stakeholders. The Digital Strategy Lead will work cross-functionally within and outside of the FP&A CoE. The following is representative of the cross-functional interactions:
Lead initiatives to “incubate” and implement digital technology programs and pilots
Collaborate with BU Finance to drive enterprise-wide adoption of new technology tools and programs
Influence integration across other programs and technology functions (e.g., EIT, AAA, FOS)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management, and/or Data Sciences
5+ years of professional experience with a multinational corporation and/or a professional services firm focusing on business solutions, FP&A or digital/technology enablement
Experience with enterprise performance management, digital transformation, enabling big data / cloud based analytics strategies
Experience in Life Sciences / Medical Manufacturing industry, preferred
Deep knowledge of E2E FP&A lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and finance analytics in the context of digitization and technology enablement
Performance-driven mindset with the ability to prioritize finance needs for innovative finance analytics and business partnering solutions
Clear ability to innovate and drive change
Skilled at developing strong relationships and working collaboratively with / through others
Ability to provide clear direction to technical teams and translate between business to technology counterparts
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including senior executive-level communication
Program/Project management skills with experience building and executing project plans for delivery of designed business processes and technology enablers
