Job Description

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Supports achievement of sales goals through use of syndicated data and consumer information in development of national, regional, and account-specific plans.

Leverage brand consumer and marketplace data and trends to support in the development of annual business planning closely tied to the efforts of marketing and sales to generate optimal demand for the brands.

Leverages in-depth knowledge of both retailer, shopper, and corporate strategies to inform brand team decisions, develop strategies, execute plans in partnership with Sales, and lead assessment of performance.

Thought leader and subject matter expert in the organization related to category, retailer and consumer insights.

Coach and develop direct reports, ensuring delivery of performance feedback and align on development plan

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience

Experienced in Consumer trade marketing planning, business planning and budget management

Experienced in Category Management principals

Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience, ability to translate strategic insights into fact-based plans/presentations utilizing retailer data sources and syndicated data NPD/IRI/ Nielsen.

Builds relationships by “engaging others, building trust” and “working across boundaries.  Collaborates across teams to achieve common goals

Ability to develop customized presentations for business unit, product launches and merchandising strategies

Able to make decisions and solve problems while working collaboratively and cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Retailers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
