Job Description

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

New account acquisition and business development, growing branded lubricants with Large Fleets/OE Dealers/Inland Marine.

Conducts lead generation and creates sales pipeline to meet volume and profitability goals. Uses Salesforce.com to manage pipeline, document activities, and maintain customer data.

Uses Challenger, value-based selling, and technical expertise to move opportunities through the sales process, identifying customer needs and Chevron solutions that deliver value.

Conducts site assessments, research technical issues, draws on expertise of Industry Specialist as needed. Able to quantify and communicate value in sales pitch.

Negotiates offer details, presents offer, closes the sale, and revises proposal and contract, as needed.

Works collaboratively with Business Consultants to establish pricing and enables a smooth handoff into the activate and transition phase that the Business Consultant will own.

Close collaboration is required across many business channels

Required Qualifications:

3 - 5 years of sales or related experience

Strong business acumen

Ability to build relationships within all levels of customer's organization

Ability to differentiate support levels based on customer needs

Knowledge in using and managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

Ability to leverage the organization to pull in additional resources where necessary

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor´s degree

Lubricants experience/ knowledge

Cold calling experience
