The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Director Learning and Development Account Management, are to:
Design, develop and deploy franchise agnostic training for account management teams through strong facilitation and platform skills delivered using asynchronous and synchronous learning approaches;
Facilitate training via live classroom training and/or workshops, virtual classroom training and/or workshops, virtual meetings, NBM/POA meetings, teleconferences;
Utilize a learning environment enriched with adult learning principles to enable optimal learning application, execution, and retention;
Complete innovative and timely updates to course materials, act as a subject matter expert (SME), to reflect changes in the sales landscape, ensuring absolute compliance with all legal, regulatory and business conduct standards;
Be a conduit for timely review of new and existing material through our Professional Review Team (PRT) and Legal Medical Regulatory (LMR) process;
Partner with Director, Franchise Learning and Development (L&D) colleagues, and appropriate Sales/Marketing leadership to develop comprehensive foundational, elevated, and immersive learning curricula through the use of state-of the art tools including technology and materials to meet sales and marketing stakeholders and field-based client needs, including (but not limited to) the creation and implementation of Account Management 101, AM 201, AM 301, along with NBM/POA skill-rich AM content including workshop materials, leader guides, and train the trainer materials;
Work with the Director to propose, develop, and complete timely training needs assessment activities, to fill current and potential future learning and development gaps including but not limited to human skills, product skills, and appropriate AM related skills;
Collaborate cross functionally with other ADs and SMEs within and beyond the Learning and Development (L&D) department to support a One Bayer mindset;
Provide timely updates and actionable evaluations and feedback to trainees, their direct report, and any additional appropriate clients and stakeholders;
Manage projects and resources, ensuring vendors meet timelines and develop appropriate, effective, and compliant materials and resources;
Stay abreast of training and development best practices and current trends in pharmaceutical, device, and bioscience industries, utilizing current advances in technology;
Have a comprehensive understanding of the latest AM trends through partnership with LTEN, SAMA, and other AM related learning partners and networks;
Collaborate with headquarters stakeholders through virtual/live meeting attendance;
Collaborate with field stakeholders and account managers including but not limited to field rides, regional/area meetings, POA/NBM sessions in order to assess the needs and impact of our learning curriculum.
