Major Responsibilities

The responsibilities of design, development & maintenance of Sterling Order Management in the following business areas

Order Capture
Order Management
Inventory Management
Order Fulfillment & Payments.
Commerce Call center

Support a wide range of technology projects, installation of patches and upgrades, etc.
Provide technical design for the Order Management application team.
Conduct design walkthrough of extensions and customizations to ensure overall quality and compliance with the IBM Sterling development framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine solution requirements and designs.
Participate in the review of solution, testing and deployment, including System Test, multi-platform Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, and Performance Test.
The project execution is Agile with continuous integration between Implementation, Testing, Deployment and Prod Support.
Mentor technical developers in the use of IBM Sterling Order Management.

Skills/Knowledge Required

Strong technical knowledge on Ecommerce software process.
Strong analytical skills to think through complex, multidimensional problems and propose appropriate solutions
Ability to work well in a team environment

Self-motivated: able to thrive in a fast paced environment with minimal direction
Excellent verbal & written communication skills to interface with the business
Good presentation skills to articulate ideas, options and solutions to business and IT team
Good Hand-ons on JAVA, Appservers, Databases, Sync and Async Integrations, DOJO, JSON, Js, XML & XSLT.
Working knowledge on MQ, Kafka, ELK stack & various integrations.
Good exposure on CI-CD tools like SVN, Github, Jira, Jenkins, Bamboo, Jmeter, ANT & Maven.

Education and Experience 

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 6+ years of experience with Java/J2EE development including 2+ years of Sterling OMS. Sterling versions 9.4+ preferred.
Experience working with Commerce Call Center preferred.
Configuration/Administrator level knowledge using Sterling Order Management components, API's, related interfaces and configuration.
Experience in Java/J2EE and specifically in developing Java based extensions and interfaces to ensure proper functionality and integration with other systems.
Experience in design, development & integrating Sterling Order Management solutions into other enterprise systems.
Experience in Oracle and Middleware technologies.
