Job Summary:
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical). Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield. Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance). Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for Day to Day Maintenance and Planning
Maintain strong engagement with operational team to drive towards production and safety goals
Engage with operational team consistently, coordinating with respect to Preventative Maintenance Plan and mechanical interruptions
Coordinate with Management & Operations to ensure that the facility is stocked with proper inventory of operational and maintenance resources (hoses, tools, parts, etc.)
Maintain accurate and consistent spare parts inventory tracking
Aid management in site training & staffing
Strategic Planning
Assist in planning & execution of production shutdowns.
Assist in development and adhering to 5-Year Plan
Program Compliance/Safety Leadership
Align with and assist in driving compliance with EHS, Human Resources & Business Unit policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Ensure safe and sanitary atmosphere and document
Enforce site PSM Program based on Corporate PSM guidelines
Drive strong alignment with Delek’s Core Values
Participate in and lead daily meetings with staff focused on safety & daily, weekly and monthly goals.
Attend safety and PSM training.
Participate and engage in PHA’s and PSM audits.
Employee Development & Performance Management
Build engagement through positive working relationships and leadership by embodying core competencies for maintenance department.
Ensure site specific training plans are communicated to & enforced
Each employee should clearly understand their respective core roles & responsibilities
Regularly audit individual qualifications for your team, ensuring alignment with Plant Manager’s expectations
Clearly document all performance discussions (can be note to self, email, etc…) with your team members
Interfacing with Local Community, Renewables Corporate Team & Delek’s Bio-Plants
Serve as contact for local officials and community
Collaborate with Renewables Corporate Team and Delek’s other Bio-Plants as necessary
Actively drive alignment with Delek Renewables Maintenance Standards
