The Business Analyst will support the Retail Category Management and Accounting Teams. This critical role will help support short and long term strategic plans and identify areas of opportunity through reporting and analytics. In addition, this role will be responsible for supporting the annual Category Planning sessions along with monthly Sales and Margin forecasting. The analyst will support promotional analysis, ROI modeling, and market intelligence trends that all support the delivery of the annual Category Plans. In addition, this role will support the Business Intelligence & Analytics team with ad hoc reporting as needed.

Description and Responsibilities:
Report Generation (70%)
Support business in generation and distribution of business reporting
Determine and document user requirements for business reporting
Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
Creation and analysis of loss prevention reporting and modeling
Reporting Development & Analysis (20%)
Identify business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports and follow up on results
Track and monitor process improvement programs analyzing and documenting the required data and information.
Support in the creation and distribution of operational surveys and process improvement deliverables
Ad Hoc Analysis (10%)
Support Business Intelligence team with ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Requirements - Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Experience with a BI Platform (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent)
Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, and Access)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
