MuleSoft is looking for a highly skilled Sales Strategy Manager to join our growing GTM Strategy and Planning team. They will be responsible for supporting the company’s annual quota planning cycle and throughout the year as the organization changes and grows. This position will require developing a deep and intimate understanding of the business and forging relationships with Sales Leaders, Strategy, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the annual quota and sales compensation design cycle, performing analyses to advise quota setting and compensation plan improvements.
Work with Field Leaders to develop operational headcount plans, align sales territories, understand impacts to sales capacity, and set quotas that align with MuleSoft’s company goals.
Develop and maintain quota data and models within Anaplan to drive insights and ensure MuleSoft is on track to attain our sales goals for the year.
Identify and complete opportunities for increased optimization and efficiency in our existing processes and models.
Be a trusted advisor to the sales organization and recommend solutions to quota, compensation, and performance related issues
About You:
5+ years of analytical experience, ideally in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Strategic Planning, Finance, or related fields
BS in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Math, Finance, Engineering, Sciences)
Ability to independently address analytical requests: understand the core question being asked, capture needed data, build model and validate assumptions, perform analyses, summarize, and present results in a compelling manner
Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
Superb Excel / G suite skills: model building, use of sophisticated formulas and arrays, pivot tables, data manipulation
Proven knowledge of queries and data/reporting tools including Tableau, SQL, Business Objects, etc.
Experience with Anaplan a plus.
Ability to succeed in a collaborative, start-up paced environment where priorities change rapidly and require flawless pivoting to new projects.
