We are excited to bring on a Data Engineering Associate with our IT organization! This position is a part of our Lincoln Preparation Program that starts in June 2022.
About the Program:
Lincoln Preparation Program (LPP) is a two-year development program designed to prepare high-performing, college graduates for strategic roles within our company. The goal is to accelerate the growth of associates within two years, providing them with the tools to take charge and further their career at Lincoln Financial Group. Program participants are placed within one business area for the entirety of the two-year program. At the end of the program, participants will have the option to stay on their current team or explore other open opportunities within the business.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Data Engineering Associate LPP you will:
Utilize advanced statistical analysis techniques to analyze, identify patterns and trends in data sets
Identify and interpret variances, research inconsistencies/anomalies in data and present findings to management
Possess natural curiosity to solve problems using data and data models
Demonstrate ability to summarize and communicate analysis and findings in a concise manner
Proficient with MS Office with strong knowledge of Excel including advance formulas, pivot tables, dataanalysis tool pack
Additional responsibilities:
Experience in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI or Qlikview
Experience in mining data by writing, modifying and troubleshooting SQL queries using SQL and MySQL
Experience in statistical data analysis tools such as R, SAS, Python
Utilize advanced statistical analysis techniques to analyze, identify patterns and trends in data sets

Rising senior or recent graduate – must obtain 4 Year/Bachelor's degree by start date - Minimum Required
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
GPA of 3.0 or above
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage workload
Ability to work in a team and create a collaborative and inclusive environment
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
