Buyer and seller trust in the eBay marketplace and full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is top priority for eBay. If a counterfeit or prohibited item is listed, this undermines trust with our buyers, eBay is exposed to risk, and the seller who listed the item exposes themselves to legal risks and financial loss.
eBay has introduced new programs and technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and image recognition, and uses this technology to detect and stop counterfeit and prohibited items. By partnering with sellers to help them follow policies, eBay generates trust with customers while ensuring compliance with the law and protecting the eBay brand.
The Prohibited & Restricted Items, Anti-Counterfeits and Listings policies teams (PRCi) have a robust strategy with a multi-year roadmap, supported by product development and operations.
The focus of this role will be to support PRCi strategy development and expansion for each line of business, secure resources through budgeting and planning, and to develop and implement the roadmap through coordination and standard methodologies within the team. The senior manager will drive engagement with executive sponsors and partners on progress and challenges, to deliver against objectives to meet goals.

This is an individual contributor role and is a member of the PRCi leadership team, reporting directly into the senior director of PRCi policy.
Success will be measured by the effectiveness of team execution towards objectives, the adoption of team standard methodologies, the support from executive leaders and the engagement from partners.
