Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Hire, Inspire, Train, and Manage team of Business Development and Account Managers
Provide team members with regular coaching/feedback to ensure engagement and maximize skills and potential.
Develop and evaluate category KPIs that align with company objectives
Develop and implement best practices, guidelines, and business strategies
Partner closely with merchandising to align on category strategies and opportunities
Lead and manage projects/programs to optimize and scale to deliver results
Stay abreast of marketplace trends, new business, and competitive landscape
Influence and collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver on key initiatives
Support and lead negotiations and complex contract
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of work and experience
7+ years of experience in business development, partnership management or sales in retail industry preferred
3+ years recent and direct supervisory experience leading and developing a team
Experience in hiring, training, and managing a team of 8+ people
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong networking skills/ability to form partnerships and create a collaborative environment
Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
Agility/ability to thrive in a demanding and changing environment
Ecommerce experience preferred
