Kinder Morgan, one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America, are looking for Application Development Analysts.

This Project Lead position resides within the Terminals application team. The successful candidate will be working for one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. The Terminals application team develops and supports many custom solutions for over 150 terminals for storing and handling various chemicals and other products.

This position will report directly to the Manager of Application Development. The successful candidate will lead development and support of new and existing Terminals applications. Individual will be the lead on projects for developing new technical solutions by utilizing technical, analytical and problem solving skills. The successful candidate will be expected to perform in the developer role as well.

Job Description:

Lead, enhance, develop Terminals and Products applications and work on projects for developing new technical solutions by utilizing technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
Enhance, develop applications and manage new projects mostly based on C#/SQL technology to support the growing business in the Terminals and Products area.
Interact with internal customers (business development, accounting, Inventory) and external customers to analyze business needs, develop & implement solutions, train customers and maintain the applications.
Lead other developers, create & manage project plans, estimates and maintain documentation. The position will report directly to the Manager of Application Development.

Position Requirements

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT or Information Systems is required

Position Requirements:

3 to 5 Years’ Experience Leading Teams of Application Developers
10+ years of work experience in an application development environment using Microsoft technologies
Experience in the Project life cycle, Design, Development, Testing, Migrations, and implementations.
Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate systems requirements verbally and in writing.
Experience in working on multiple assignments during the same time frame and juggling tasks based on relative priorities with supervision commensurate with grade level
Uses time effectively and efficiently. Team player, values input of others and strives to solve problems for the good of all.
Can represent own interests and yet be sensitive to others. Is cooperative and encourages collaboration.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience in SQL and C# application model is a plus
Having Liquids or Gas Industry experience is a plus
