Job Description
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Assist technology project managers in overseeing schedules and milestone management
Assist in co-ordination and collaboration with multiple technology teams, obtaining weekly status, identify project scope, risks, dependencies and
assumptions
Prepare and assist in project documentation, monitor project progress, measure project performance and suggest areas of improvements
Assist the business analysis team in analysis of current state systems, analyze daily back office operations and procedures
Assist in collating and analyzing GFS data requirements, document functional and technical specifications
Learn and use project management tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
Assist with other ad-hoc department-wide projects as needed
Work Experience / Knowledge:
General industry knowledge of asset management and fund services
Excellent computer skills utilizing spreadsheet and word processing (Windows, MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, JIRA a plus)
Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS, Azure and Snowflake a plus
Strong quantitative skills and detail oriented
Ability to work under time pressure
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals including both internal and external contacts required
Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
