The SR Global Training Manager -  In this role the Senior Manager typically manages a department or unit that includes multiple teams led by Managers.  He/she is responsible for the training environment for both internal and external partners around the world. He/she makes strategic and tactical decisions regarding the best methods and practices to meet or exceed the company’s customer experience expectations by producing excellently trained employees. 

Primary responsibilities are described in the following categories but are not limited to:

Ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the Department. 
Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis. 
Requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership
Managing vision and purpose – Communicates a compelling and inspired vision or sense of core purpose; talks beyond today; talks about possibilities; is optimistic; creates milestones and strategies to rally support behind the vision; makes the vision shareable by everyone; can inspire and motivate entire units or organizations.

Managing Through Systems-Can design practices, processes, and procedures which allow managing from a distance; can impact people and results remotely.

Dealing with Ambiguity - Can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.

A successful Global Training Manager will have the following:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; and five years related experience including four years of supervisory/management experience and/or people development training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Knowledge base in advanced training methodologies, adult learning theory, and evaluation processes preferred. 
Experience with employment development, remote management and call center operations a plus
