Key Responsibilities
Supervises and coordinates the day to day activities of teams that ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of all line practices.
Oversees installation, inspections, repairs, routine maintenance and troubleshooting of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management.
Tracks facilities service requests with applicable system and completes requests within established timelines and quality specifications. Maintains a safe and effective working environment.
Trains team on policies and procedures.
Ensure phosphate baths are providing proper coating
Maintain calibrations and corrections factors of the lab equipment daily
Manage incoming rack delivery and placement Maintain daily inventory of stored racks at PPG (Due to increased volume and expectation from John Deere)
Manage layout and customization of racks (any regular clean-up, 5-S duties)
Maintain MITS rack inventory and compare to JD needs Assess
Assess future need for racks and drive off-site storage of excess racks with John Deere Back-up to Shipping & Receiving Line Leaders
Qualifications
Requires an Associate's Degree
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
Attention to detail and ability to adhere to tight safety and quality requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day
