Job Description
The A/R Disbursement Analyst serves as the subject matter expert for research, verification and submission of unclaimed property related to Accounts Receivable checks. This role is also responsible for the research and deposit of incoming AR Customer refund checks and Accounts Payable miscellaneous cash deposits. Handles wire transfers related to misdirected cash and partners with onshore and offshore resources on credit reduction activities.
Responsible for the deposit of customer refund checks and misdirected cash deposits for both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Research all outstanding checks and aged customer credits to determine if or when items are moved to Escheatment. Partner with AP and GL personnel on the review, preparation, submission and filing of all unclaimed property into Tracker system.
Responsible for the research, preparation and submission of AR wire transfers related to misdirected cash.
Support compliance group insuring payments are in compliance with RRDs business policies and payment guidelines.
Ensure fiduciary controls governing the disbursement of company funds are in place and adhered to
Acts as liaison between Accounts Receivable and Corporate Treasury
Assists with the preparation and submission of check requests related to rebates and customer refunds. Ensure all research is completed and that supporting documentation is collected and included prior to submission of check requests.
Partner with credit and collections, offshore and other internal resources to support daily credit reduction activities. Ensures all aged items are researched and completed within department Service Level Agreement and acts as escalation point for offshore team.
Performs other tasks as assigned or requested.
Required Skills
Associates degree in accounting, finance or business
Minimum 1-2 years experience in high volume AR environment
Strong knowledge of SAP accounting system a plus
Strong organization and communication skills
Demonstrated skills in customer service, quality, problem solving, and resource management
