Job Summary
Own the end-to-end Quality Assurance Process for Hill’s Pet Nutrition eCommerce platforms, including developing and executing test strategy and plans, applying industry best practices for tools and processes, and establishing and reporting on quality metrics. Lead all QA aspects of Agile sprint deployments, coordinating QA resources internally and externally, analyzing deployment risk and escalating concerns appropriately.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and mentor QA team members (outside contract testers and/or internal QA Engineers) in development and execution of manual test cases, scripts, plans and procedures, as well as manage and organize testing by internal subject matter experts.
Evaluate production readiness of sprint deployments by validating and documenting the completion of testing and development; provide comprehensive reporting of testing progress and defects to provide visibility to the project team.
Establish and evolve QA strategy, standards, processes and procedures based on an Agile and Scrum Methodology, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices for testing and for documenting defects.
Work closely with testers, Customer Service team, subject matter experts and IT team to identify, document and triage bugs and to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner, tracking them from discovery to resolution.
Influence feature development by working with business, IT and design teams to understand how features meet the end user’s goal, input into prioritization, then develop requirements and acceptance criteria to determine whether features meet the objectives.
Partner with IT team to ensure that system components and features are designed for testability and input into test automation strategy, roadmap and implementation..

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degre
2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
Experience as a hands-on tester
Experience working on agile software development team
Experience testing web applications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP and Hybris

Experience with big data applications
Experience with test automation
