The Sr. Strategy Advisor is an important role shaping the future of New Energies and SEAm, consistent with Shell’s Power strategy and ambitions. This role requires significant collaboration across SEAm, Shell Energy globally and New Energies to successfully realize opportunities and manage challenges. As

such, this role provides a great platform for personal development and business impact.

Key accountabilities include:

Development and upkeep of clear, balanced (across generation, trading and customer positions as

outlined by Global Power strategy), strategy delivery roadmaps by key markets.

Coordinate across the Americas markets to ensure overall strategic fit of portfolio (includes determining

missing components needed to be added to the portfolio in order to deliver required financial

outcomes for the business as a whole or recommendations for divestment or restructuring.

Inform capital allocation to support organic and inorganic growth

Monitor and communicate competitive insights to support benchmarking, cost competitiveness, efficiency and dynamic “outside-in” market perspective

Support key lookbacks and self-audits to ensure value capture/retention, embed key learnings for continuous improvement Inform annual budgeting and target setting The individual will report to GM Portfolio & Development in New Energies Americas. The candidate will need to have strong strategy background, commercial mindset, financial acumen, ability to articulate/message complex themes into digestible/meaningful narratives, effective executive communications/presentations and represent SEAm in various hi-profile internal and external forums. While supporting and enabling business delivery, the candidate should be comfortable speaking-up and raise challenges or dilemmas in a clear and constructive manner, even when unpopular.

The successful candidate must seamlessly work across teams, navigating businesses, functions, organizational levels. It will be essential to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with Strategy peers, business leaders, M&A and Finance teams, both regionally and globally.

What we need from you

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or other relevant field of study required.

Minimum 10 or moreyears of combined energy, trading, origination, business development, Power Development (conventional/renewable) Power Marketing, Project Financing, Asset Management/Operations or Strategy & Portfolio

Proven track-record of delivery across teams, strategy & portfolio, commercial businesses and projects

Experience in structured project delivery, such as Opportunity Realization Standards, Strategic

Problem-Solving methodology etc.

Ability to influence others, both peers and senior leaders

Excellent verbal and written communications

Ability to strike a good balance of support and challenge and to think independently
