Job Summary

This intermediate level position completes assigned tasks in order to perform fitting and welding work on compression and production equipment. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
Work with SMAW, GMAW, SCAW, and SAW welding processes
Work independently as well as in a team environment focusing on teamwork and unity
Layout structural and piping components using hand tools
Position fixtures, jigs, pin wheels, rolls, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Specific Skills

Intermediate ability to perform basic welding techniques
Intermediate ability to read and understand blueprints
Intermediate ability to interpret customer's specifications and applicable industry codes and standards
Possess basic computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills

Education

Minimum: High school diploma or GED

Experience

Minimum: 2 - 5 years related work experience
