About The Job

Primary focus:

Create social content, copy and editorial calendars for client needs, contributing to conceptual and copy direction on assigned accounts, both at the day-to-day and strategic level
Concept and bring creative ideas to life in all social platforms
Develop content that matches the client’s brand voice/strategy, using language that is (pop) culturally relevant, distinctive and in sync with the art/graphics
Draft longer form assignments (blog posts, website content, scripts, brand messaging)
Support creation of social playbooks, helping to develop personas, brand voice/tone, community manager response scripts, etc.
Work closely with creative team to ensure visual concepts and copy are cohesive, tailored to best practices on individual social channels and platforms
Assist with research for creative campaign assets for new business opportunities
Translate trends, technologies and metrics into understandable and easily digestible new business presentations
Additional duties and project management responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years of professional writing experience for consumer-facing brands on major social platforms
Excellent writing, copyediting and proofreading skills across a variety of topics and channels; B2C and B2B experience preferred
A strong grasp of capabilities, trends, and best practices for each major social platform (e.g., Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn)
Finger on the pulse of what is happening on the internet and in pop culture before it trends
An understanding of the quirks, opportunities, and humor associated with social media communications
Ability to craft and tell a good story
Strong portfolio of social concepts, content and campaigns
