This role in summary

Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates to join our Planning organization in Benton Harbor MI.

Your responsibilities will include

Deployment Planning:

•    Manage finished goods inventory deployment for Kitchen-Aid small appliances.
•    Monitor inputs & outputs of the deployment planning system to facilitate optimal planning and error-free execution.
•    Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring exceptional availability with minimum backorders.
•    Collaborate with global business units to troubleshoot availability issues, resolve supply/demand mismatches and provide expertise on inventory management solutions.
•    Perform supply chain due diligence for new product transitions and assist with ramp up/ramp down activities.
•    Track forecast/shipments/inventory trends and present insights and recommendations to business partners across all levels to aid decision making
•    Participate in the development & governance of Inventory Management processes.

Global Order Management:

•    Create, analyze and communicate monthly global open order reports.
•    Lead project to automate global open order reports in Tableau.
•    Maintain SAP planned orders for global regions.
•    Process customer orders per the global supply allocation.
•    Resolve order commit roadblocks to drive optimal levels of availability and order item fill rates.
•    Act as subject matter expert on all global order management projects
•    Maintain a consistent and effective communication process with process partners

Minimum requirements

•     Bachelor's Degree 
•    3+ years’ of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations or Procurement
•    Experience using SAP systems 

Preferred skills and experiences

•    Analytical & critical thinking skills
•    Experience with Tableau
•    Understanding of Supply Chain concepts, processes, and procedures 
•    Experience with Six Sigma or other Lean Tools
•    Solve complex business problems and make decisions sometimes with limited data  
•    Communication, leadership, organization, project management, and change management skills  
•    Deliver strong results in a self-directed environment  
•    Customer focus  
•    Understanding & application of Continuous Improvement tools & methodologies
