The Role
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the effective implementation of conversion from off-net to on-net services, which encompasses the entire order life cycle. Nature of conversions will vary greatly based on the opportunity type and build capabilities. Will be responsible for working with the impacted customer and also all internal departments to meet the committed delivery date.
The Main Responsibilities
Leader of larger scale like for like conversions, or product migrations for one "parent" order path.
Direct customer contact to obtain order details, schedule milestones and review impacts. Able to interpret technical requirements and appropriately inform customer of service or technical requirement changes.
Liaison between departments, managing any associated escalations, primary point of contact for customer, and facilitator of information to sales teams.
Provides timely written status updates, sets appropriate jeopardy status, and engages appropriate resources to overcome obstacles which impede order progress.
Manages a work queue of orders, meets metric performance for all tasks, and completes order life cycle with accuracy.
Reviews and provides feedback for method of procedure and other documents and templates for continuous improvement.
Participates and provides training and job shadowing support to peers through: OJT, classroom training, and job aides.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required:
Assoc degree or equivalent education and relevant experience. 3-7 years related experience in specific area or equivalent.
Must have keen attention to detail. Must be self-directed, understand the requirements and take the initiative to complete tasks or assignments with little or no direction
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to direct the work of other functional organizations
Strong PC skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Team player with a great passion to succeed
Must work effectively under pressure; organizing multiple tasks and projects in fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate Degree or equivalent experience in Project/Business Management, Telecommunications, Operations, Technology or related field.
Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity.
