Job Description

WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:

Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders.
Assist with the photography, design, and layout, of the quarterly Employee magazine, LUVLines; production of promotional and event collateral; social media design, photography, and other printed and digital content needed to support Company projects.
Knowledge of printed color techniques, scanning, and color correction.
Knowledge of image editing and color correcting photography
Assist with identifying opportunities for possible story/photo content
Ability to understand and interpret brand standards and implement into design solutions.
Ability to conceptualize and provide creative consultation to internal Clients.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Mandatory: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and AfterEffects
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and the Mac Os X operating system.
Familiar with all aspects of Company structure, operating philosophy, and culture.
Performs special assignments as directed.
Ability to provide timely communication and excellent Customer Service to our Clients.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree required. B.F.A. from an accredited College Institution in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or Communication Design Required.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Photography experience (samples in portfolio are mandatory) required
Motion graphics and on-screen broadcast design experience preferred
Copywriting experience preferred.
Tablet and mobile design experience preferred.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Ability to lift 25 lbs (photography equipment as needed)

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

Must be highly motivated and able to develop and manage projects with supervision.
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects) skills mandatory. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) mandatory.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and superb proofreading skills preferred.
Must work well under stress, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work as a team player, be willing to work long hours, and travel as necessary.
Must demonstrate and maintain an extremely high regard for confidential and sensitive information.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by start date to comply with Executive Order 14042, which requires employees of federal contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
