The location for this position will be Benton Harbor, MI with a partial remote working structure.

 

Your responsibilities will include

Assist in continuous product improvement by ideating and defining user stories and product requirements to guide both design and development
Deeply understand the consumer, identify product gaps, and generate ideas that improve the user experience, increase adoption and create new revenue streams
Support the launch process and Go-to-Market strategy for digital products collaborating with cross-functional teams including brand & category management, shopper insights, sales training, among others
Drive post-purchase user engagement and improve customer ratings for Whirlpool and Maytag brands
Conducting user research and market experiments in order to validate concepts and determine product direction
Evaluate, manage, and support third-party data sources and analytics integration
Leverage data and technology to activate and power personalized ownership experiences for our consumers
Support IoT quality for Maytag and Whirlpool brand apps - monitoring feedback and managing maintenance of business.
Leverage Agile methodologies to help coordinate successful mobile app releases. Engage with developers and scrum team on agile ceremonies, planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives. 
Collaborate with brand managers, UX/UX, and product teams to create consistent support documentation (training materials, knowledge bases, etc.)

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s Degree, or, in lieu of a Degree a High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of product management experience
2+ years of product management or product marketing experience in the tech/IoT, mobile apps, UX design, consumer products, or retail
2+ years of experience working with data/analytics tools, including Google Analytics


Preferred skills and experiences

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science
Understanding and/or hands-on experience working in Agile environment, supporting app/software development 
Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, UI/UX, sales, client support, finance and marketing
Familiarity with current and emerging technologies
Passionate about technology and smart homes
Consumer-centric mindset
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Highly organized and resourceful 
Strong sense of urgency and bias for action 
Strong analytical and technical skills, including an understanding of how to interpret customer needs and translate them into application requirements.
