Job Overview:
This position will be responsible for the development and execution of technical demonstrations for Mobile AP, XR, and AI. This role requires a technical understanding of mobile technologies, including audio, camera, graphics, security, extended reality, and AI to develop B2B and B2C demonstrations that resonate with target audiences.
This person will lead technical meetings with Engineering, Product Management, Corporate Marketing, and 3rd-parties. Additionally, this person will be expected to conceptualize, develop, and manage a portfolio of demonstrations and ensure on-time completion. These demonstrations include, but are not limited to, technical videos, competitive benchmarking, testing, 3rd-party applications, etc.
Many of the product demonstrations will be shown at leading tradeshows and events, where this person will represent some of the technologies and products demonstrated. This individual will be expected to explain to technical and non-technical audiences.
With an everchanging calendar and mix of technologies and products, this person must be flexible, be able to multitask, act independently, and be proactive.
Responsibilities include:
Manage a portfolio of mobile AP, XR, and AI demonstrations
Collaborate across Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, and 3rd-parties on planning and execution
Generate new ideas and concepts to bring Qualcomm’s innovations and products to life in more compelling and experiential ways
Manage planning, development, milestones, and execution to keep projects on schedule
Maintain ongoing dialogue and regular meetings with stakeholders
Ensure product experiences are relevant to target audiences
Act as public spokesperson for Product Experiences at select tradeshows and events
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years marketing, program management, engineering experience in high-tech industry
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent program management, planning, and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Masters degree in related field
Effective relationship-building and influencing skills
Ability to work and lead in a highly collaborative team environment and build alignment/consensus across technical and non-technical teams
Self-starter, resourceful, and able to effectively operate in a complex, fast-paced environment
