A successful candidate will possess:

Well-developed analytical skills, a team-oriented personality, and a proactive, curiosity-driven approach to problem-solving

Knowledge of programming languages commonly used in data analytics (SQL required, Python would be a plus)

Experience with report development and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects)

Data wrangling skills (identifying data sources, troubleshooting, reconciling data quality issues, etc.)

Experience with cloud computing technologies is a plus (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Athena, Snowflake)

This position is work from home, anywhere in the US. This position can be filled at a lower level, based on candidate's experience.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Functions as the specialist in data extraction from databases, tables, data warehouses and other sources for applying in operational reporting and solutions. Develops, produces and maintains ad hoc and custom reports. Uses various data access tools to pull information for reports and solutions.

Builds and maintains relationships and serves as a trusted financial and operational measurement resource to clients, internal risk partners and other stakeholders.

Creates, packages and presents financial and operational measurement work by developing new statistical and visual solutions and using appropriate medium for relevant insights. Determines level of information needed based on business problems and customer needs.

Delivers on financial and operational measurement strategies for the business unit. Consults with business partners to understand, align and deliver measurement work that supports business objectives and priorities. 

Builds business intelligence applications using statistical, database and/or general programming languages and tools. Leverage's technology for data management, report automation and/or ad hoc reporting for end users.

Assists other associates with preparation of reports and use of information systems, software and related sources of information. Trains other users on report preparation and data base access.

Leads and serves as a main point of contact for projects.

Monitors, reviews and analyzes the external environment to support the research and analysis done with data extracted from internal sources. Presents and discusses these findings with customers.
