Job Description
The Global Risk Solutions North America Property Product Management team is hiring a Director to support our Ocean Marine business (Cargo, Hull and Liability). Under minimal direction and often independently with high collaboration and engagement with the business, the Director will develop products, support implementation and product execution with an overall goal of sustaining profitability and growth of the Ocean Marine lines of business.
Responsibilities:
Leads work to support and maintain an up to date product suite for the Ocean Marine product lines
Leads and serves as a subject matter expert in implementation of Ocean Marine business initiatives, working with cross-functional teams to conduct analyses to support strategic direction and increase the sophistication of assigned product line
Collaborates with Pricing and Analytical partners to set product line strategies and monitor execution
Researches and develops new products, forms and endorsements to support assigned product line identifying opportunities for product differentiation, including filing and other work to support forms in underwriting systems
Leads moderate and high complexity multi-functional projects under minimal direction
Develops and presents training on product and complex topics to support execution and profitability for assigned product line
Researches, creates and updates product guidance, working with actuarial, underwriting, claims, legal, other and stakeholders
Monitors and responds to emerging issues impacting assigned product line via product development and changes, training, strategic adjustment
Evaluates the performance of and identifies trends and areas of opportunity in assigned product line to make recommendations for product line improvements.
Cultivates and leverages network across disciplines organizing and leading cross-functional project teams while representing projects in executive settings.
Seeks data to understand the portfolio for innovative analyses that propel product strategies.
