Job Description

Summary

The ISS Solutions Engineer will become a member of the Solutions Engineering team assisting in the modernization of product, processes, and ISS engagement on Relayhealth’s portfolio of products.  

This position will provide contextual leadership for technical contributors and processes for the refinement of technical and functional applications across the SDLC, IT, & Operational pillars.   Key goals include ongoing development of platforms to support fast and accurate continuity of product solutions including availability, recoverability, forecasting, & predictability.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirement specifications from customers & internal department to consult on best path to success using a mixture of existing capabilities, NextGen capability roadmaps, and best practices.  Review the related engineering software design documents, product documentation, product description to ensure customer requirements can be delivered. Extensive work with data flows, expense mgmt., and third party integrations using Gateway best practices for authentication & Authorization
Assist engineering teams with the implementation phase, by supporting the development and product architects with the support needed to understand any delta scope and any customization requirements arising out of delta scope analysis.
Facilitate the scale-up of product functionality knowledge by executing internal enablement activities such as estimation & review sessions.  Facilitate oversight & feedback to business teams of products to support proper prioritization.
Evangelizes principles of lean, ITIL service delivery, & SRE best practices to support anticipated outcomes.  Ensures continuous integration and continuous delivery processes are followed within the delivery organization.
Partners closely with application development & support teams to support consistency in delivery including requirements collection for workloads and cloud-based enablement.  (e.g. roadmap development for data strategies.)
Partners closely with Security and ISRM to deliver highly secure solutions that meet enterprise compliance controls.  Partners with multiple tech & business focused departments to drive cross functional initiatives related to proper onboarding of cloud and use cases, as well as migration strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

Cloud Based Certifications
6+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, cloud delivery, and architecture development.

Critical Skills:

Experience with mainstream cloud providers, Azure, AWS, & GCP, is required including, but not limited to, platform architecture, security & protection enablement, oversight & administration.
3 years with active leadership & participation in cloud adoption & product migrations.
Experience interpreting non-functional requirements and SLAs to support services architecture.
Demonstrate experience in exerting influence & alignment with multiple business & technical teams.  (e.g. product, dev, ops)

Additional Skills:

Experience designing or supporting high volume or large data analysis environments a plus.

Education 

Degree or equivalent.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
