Position Overview:

The Coca-Cola Trademark Brand Manager will help support the Coca-Cola brand's new platform innovation strategies and initiatives. In this role, the candidate will help to create and deliver breakthrough, cross-category product marketing solutions to support new platforms for growth within the brand portfolio. This person will work closely with the broader Coca-Cola Trademark team and cross-functional partners to execute and build multi-year innovation pipelines to achieve business goals in North America.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

Support the Coca-Cola TM Innovation Agenda for New Product Platforms: Provide leading strategic thinking & solutions focused on capturing value from new/current drinkers for sustainable volume & revenue growth. Help to multi-year innovation pipeline development for Coca-Cola TM to achieve business goals in North America. This includes helping to define the boundaries of innovation for the TM, leading key 2020 and 2021 new platform product launches, and helping to build a multi-year expansion-pipeline of commercially viable solutions. The role will require full line of sight from opportunity to execution & will call for a GM approach to innovation. Focus Platforms include Coca-Cola with Coffee and future new platforms (e.g., Hydration)

Create Engagement Models and Communication IMC Plans to win in key NARTD growth segments, including Coffee and Hydration. The leader will have to work with the cross-functional multi-IMC and Commercial teams to help build engagement models that disrupt cross-category and inspire consumers, customers and shoppers.

Inspire the System: Create shared value. Help to support the dialogue on new platforms with Key customers and Bottling partners to ensure our plans are strategically aligned and optimized.

Brand Vision & Thought Leadership: As part of the Coca-Cola TM, help shape the overall growth vision for the brand to deliver our growth ambition

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required

MBA or Master's Level degree preferred

Related Work Experience:
4 or more years of experience in Marketing with a focus on Brand Management, Assets/Digital and/or Innovation

Functional Skills:

General Manager approach to brand-building

Understanding of brand positioning, growth strategy & all stages of new product innovation process

Experience to create / develop break-through thinking to address our market challenges.

Identifying and actioning consumer insights through collaboration with Knowledge & Insights / Brand teams

Ability to build partnerships and establish trust & credibility across all levels of TCCC Leadership.

Strong ability to collaborate with and influence others to gain consensus & alignment

Excellent oral communication and presentation skills to set a clear direction with inspiration.

New Product Launch Experience will be a positive bonus

Ability to get things done in a complex system; Strong curiosity and a passion for innovation
