Position Overview

As an Architect with Insight Professional Services, you will be the Subject Mater Expert assigned to Office 365, Exchange, Enterprise Mobility Suite and Skype for Business opportunities and work closely with the sales and the delivery team. You will be responsible for the oversight, design and solutioning of Microsoft solutions and related technologies. As a Professional Services Architect you can expect to:

Learn: In this role knowledge is power. You will be expected to keep abreast of the software solutions offered by manufacturers and their direct competitors.
Be solution focused: You will identify client needs and design a plan and proposal based on the needs. A strong ability to develop solutions based on discovery and needs will be needed for this position. 
Be a team player: Assist in identifying potential opportunities and qualify these leads by preparing solution proposals.
Be a trusted advisor: You will develop and maintain expertise on the manufacturer's products, programs, competition and the industry. You’ll also provide licensing and product reporting as well as support to Sales as needed to execute on contract management deliverables.

 

What we’re looking for:

Accountable for the overall technical solution of projects
Serve as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Teams Voice, Skype for business, direct routing, etc.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions
Stay abreast of the latest Microsoft-based technologies 
Provide technical oversight across multiple engagements as well as approve technical deliverables 
Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change 
Work closely with Insight teammates to ensure timely delivery of the product and coordination of technology resources at client locations
Provide Pre-Sales support for clients with complex requirements (deep technology / high risk)
BS in Computer Science 
5-10 years of relevant industry experience in an enterprise environment
Growth in technical skills through certifications (MCSA, MCSE, MCP, MCTS) or other similar achievements is desired
Ability to present in front of the customer and discuss in depth the above technologies 
Provide an understanding of what is needed to implement the above technologies in a complex environment
Must be effective working in teams or independently to accomplish project objectives
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
Hold the basic understanding of networking, desktop/server level configuration and management
Extensive experience designing and implementing Microsoft on prem and cloud including:

Microsoft Skype for Business
Microsoft Teams
SIP Trunking
SBCs
Unified Messaging

Other experience with the Microsoft portfolio is desired including:

Microsoft SharePoint
Microsoft OneDrive
Microsoft 365 Security
Microsoft Exchange
Microsoft 365 Messaging
Email migrations (Exchange, Domino, Google, etc.)
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft Mobile Device Management
Microsoft InTune
Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security
Microsoft Azure Information Protection
Cisco Unified Communications
Cisco WebEx

Industry certification is desired
