Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join our Ashland Credit Union business at our Ashland, KY site. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Lending function. This position will report to Lending Manager.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Analyze and review application and loan documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance with Ashland Credit Union lending policies.
Analyze credit reports, income documents and other supporting documentation submitted by members for the purposes of obtaining credit.
Calculate and analyze all applicable financial ratios, property appraisals and other asset values submitted by members for the purposes of obtaining credit.
Structure approved loan requests within ACU lending guidelines.
Effectively communicate reasoning behind credit decisions to Loan Officers, Management, and ACU Board Members.
Strictly adhere to all ACU policies, procedures and applicable state and federal compliance standards to protect our members and the credit union from financial harm.
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2 to 4 Years working in the Financial Services Industry
1 To 3 Years’ Experience in Lending and Credit Analysis
