Position Summary:
In this non-selling role, you’ll be helping support our sales initiatives and objectives by:
Serving as liaison between sales staff and operations staff
Assisting with preparation of sales presentations and proposals
Managing the quoting process and sales pipeline
Maintaining a customer relationship management database
Planning and scheduling meetings, client events, conferences, and related travel needs
Preparing webinars and event presentations
Scheduling appointments clients/prospects
Prepping staff for industry events (e.g., conferences, association meetings)
Preparing weekly and monthly productivity reports
Assisting with RFP response, as needed
Performing other tasks and duties, as assigned
The ideal candidate will also have:
At least 2 years’ experience in a sales support – or similar role – in a fast-paced environment
The ability to interact professionally with a variety of personalities
Stellar written and verbal communication
A high level of competence with Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint
The ability to self-start and stay on task with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and good deductive reasoning
World-class organizational skills and be able to multi task effectively
Required:
Bachelor's degree
No related experience required.
Preferred Traits:
1+ years' in a professional services organization.
1+ years' telephone sales experience.
Strong working knowledge of potential clients and the insurance brokerage business.
