The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Vehicle Operations facility in York is our final assembly plant. Employees at York also perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, polishing and painting and produce a wide range of current and replacement parts for all models. Join our team as a Production Technician 1.
The Production Technician 1 works in a variety of roles, such as material handling, assemblers, and equipment loading/unloading.
Assembly - Assemble a vehicle in part of a zone or in a sub-assembly area. Assemble and pack vehicles in multiple stations within a work area or a sub assembly area.
Paint - Operate automated paint systems, stripe robots, waterslide application, masking, and other related functions.
Fabrication - Assist in the set-up of presses, lasers and other equipment. Operate multiple machines in a manufacturing center, cell, work cell(s), or flow line(s) using a variety of presses and lasers.
Materials - Must have cross-functional knowledge of material flow techniques and be willing to perform in a team-oriented, customer-focused organization. Must be able to adapt to a variety of duties on a rotational basis in a quick changing, fast paced environment. Must be able to obtain PIV certification.
Qualifications
Must have High School Diploma or GED or one year work experience. For Material Handler positions must have 2 years of relevant material handling experience.
