JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Data Visualization Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data and building reports for the Revenue Operations department. The Data Visualization Analyst will perform work independently, or collaboratively with partners or stakeholders identifying technologies and data sources and providing guidance and communications to all levels within the business, to ultimately produce greater insight and better decisions. Perform advanced analytical or administrative tasks associated with business processes and/or department specialization. The work is varied, advanced and offers opportunity for development projects, applying skills such as reporting and visual development, analysis, planning, design, research, budget monitoring, coordination, facilitation, and communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Support Revenue Operations team in reviewing, analyzing, and projecting outcomes of customer arrearages, dunning notices, payment behaviors, customer satisfaction, etc.
Manage and report on program performance against metrics and targets
Perform advanced analytical or administrative tasks associated with business processes and/or department specialization for development of projects, applying skills such as reporting and visual development, analysis, planning, design, research, budget monitoring, coordination, facilitation, and communication with customers
Applies an in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures within the specialization to complete the more difficult assignments and may coordinate or lead projects
Ability to quickly gather and form reporting requirements, learn subject matter and extract and transform data and reports (especially from Tableau to PowerBI)
Adept in optimizing data models and visualizations maximizing Power BIs Ability to test data model, calculations, and quality of analytical output
Expertise in use and application of DAX and constructing of advanced calculations
Strong ability to connect to variety of data sources, proficiently using the queried data in PowerBI
Proficient in the development artistry of highly consumable visual reports, dashboards, and data narratives
Strong knowledge of primary data management languages such as like SQL, Python, etc.
Demonstrable experience in visualization best practices, data optimization and model efficiency
Ability to effectively deliver and present work to the appropriate audience
Apply data quality assurance practices in the development of data models and resulting output
Deadline oriented with ability to manage concurrent deliverables
Work with stakeholders, including but not limited to Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Architects, and IT, to support the integration of data from multiple internal and external sources to be used for reporting
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field. Less than a bachelor’s degree may be acceptable if accompanied by extensive Company or industry experience in positions that demonstrate required abilities and performance.
3+ years’ experience analyzing data and building reports
Proficiency in SQL, MS tools including excel, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Python
Team player with positive attitude and ability to work effectively with different teams
Creativity and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively
