Business Process Services professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology.  They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process services, including finance and accounting, procurement and human resources. Depending on the role, Business Process Services professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world. 

You Are:

As the Global Practice Lead, Corporate and Professional Services you will be accountable for multi-category teams managing sourcing projects across a mixed portfolio of Global clients and categories in delivery centers around the globe. In this role, you will need to be able to work in a blended environment of client dedicated team and shared services while having the ability to effectively collaborate and influence across the Global Procurement Services Business in the following areas: Maximize resource utilization to ensure optimal productivity and margin contributing to contract P&L; Ability to be nimble in maintaining the right resource level and mixture; Assist in developing and career tracking resources newer in their professional career; Participate in new business development, especially due diligence and solution design; Develop and maintain a multiyear roadmap to evolve the Services Organization and continue our rotation to the new; Lead delivery of sourcing services for category. Demonstrate mastery in designated categories. Strategic development and performance delivery of the sourcing function. 

The Work:

Client Relationship Management

Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder relationships at priority accounts; support account stakeholder relationship plans

Understand our contractual obligations with the clients you have oversight for and scope of services provided by Accenture.

Lead sourcing function globally, with an expertise in Financial Services, Tax/Audit, Consulting, etc. 

Continuously design, innovate & improve on the execution of sourcing to lead in the new

Develop and deploy Sourcing offering deliverables (i.e. process templates)

Ensure consistency of sourcing project delivery within designated team by leveraging best practices across Sourcing Project Management organization

Review operational results and identify opportunities for process changes

Define and build the Global sourcing product offering (i.e. operating model, organizational design, best practices, sourcing and buying tools, strategic and tactical sourcing approaches, key metrics and reports)

Team Management

Direct supervision of regional and global agile sourcing leaders

Overall accountability for the agile sourcing team globally

Maintain overall team chargeability in line with targets

Accountable for ensuring project staffing meets both skill and cost requirements globally

Ensure team members receive necessary training to remain relevant to clients

Provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to team leads on stakeholder and project management, with a special emphasis on collaboration, customer focus, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement

 

Qualifications

Here's What You Need:

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum of 15 years of procurement / operations / consulting experience

Minimum of 5 years Accenture Operations experience

Minimum of 5 years of people management, supervisory or mentoring experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience with Procurement BPS propriety tools with prior and existing clients

Bonus Points:

Strong leadership skills – proven ability to attract, build, mentor and direct a high-performing cohesive team

Collaborative mindset and ability to partner well with colleagues and other leaders within the PBPS organization

Experience leading cross-functional teams through a defined sourcing process

Excellent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills

Exceptional time management skills

Collaborative in nature to effectively manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders that have resulted in high customer satisfaction

Knowledge of our end-to-end processes (contracting, P2P, account management) and inclination towards process improvement

General business acumen and ability to manage overall sourcing delivery for a portfolio of clients

Knowledge of how and when to escalate

Professional Skills:

Demonstrated capability working in a multi-function team environment, including effective influence management

Demonstrated ability to effectively lead formal strategic sourcing efforts related to indirect categories

Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to figure things out

Ability to act independently and can interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills

Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Ability to drive transformational change

Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal clients

Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers

Travel Requirements:

Ability to travel globally

This position requires travel of up to 50% to multiple delivery locations
