To efficiently support the growth of ENGIE Impact in bringing the highest standard of consulting and engineering services to ENGIE Impact’s clients, we are looking for a HR Leader:
As an VP, Human Resources, you will provide strategic and operational excellence by translating business strategy and requirements into HR value-adding approaches.
In an expanding path activity, you will be responsible for all the HR topics in your scope:
Americas – United States, Canada and LATAM (Chile, Peru and Mexico) legal entities of Engie Impact
Supporting the Sustainability Solutions (SSo) AMERICAS team as HR Business Partner and also overseeing the transversal HR related topics and coordinating HR projects covering the global SSo consulting perimeter
You report directly to the CHRO and will work very closely with the Managing Directors of the region(s).
You are part of the regional Management Committee and the HR Leadership Team of ENGIE Impact. You will be supported by a dedicated team locally and by Impact´s transversal HR team at the global level (People & Organizational Development; Culture & DEI; Compensation & Benefits).
Job Description
Partner closely with senior stakeholders across functions to define & lead strategic initiatives that can support the achievement of business goals
Accompany and align strategic HR plans and policies (recruitment, training, compensation etc.) across your perimeter and within SSo transversally
Work with senior line managers and employees to address various employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests
Lead the execution of HR programs and practices related to performance management, compensation, workforce planning/management, and talent management
Partner with leadership and the HR People & Organizational Development organization to design and deliver appropriate talent planning activities that will identify talent, leadership development priorities, and succession plans; Focus efforts on personal development needs and promote a learning environment which supports on-the-job opportunities within the teams, and internally across the company
Act as an accelerator to drive Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in SSo Americas and the broader organizations; partners with Director Culture & DEI to design and deliver key DEI initiatives and tracks progress against defined KPI
Partner with Compensation and Benefits to design and implement a compensation structure for each geography, following worldwide guidelines; Provide guidance and input on compensation progression and market benchmark
Develop partnerships with other staff groups (e.g., Finance, Communications) to deliver integrated solutions to HR-related needs
Lead the operational AMERICAS HR team across all entities within your scope (virtual/hybrid/on-site)
Manage the human resources budget for your scope
?Experience
Minimum of 10-15 years’ proven experience in HR or an HR related field and preferably with several years of experience in an HR Business Partnering role in the US and abroad
You have experience in an international structure preferably in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Experience working in a strategy or advisory consulting firm would be preferable
Proven experience as a team manager and organizational leader preferred
Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, employee relations etc.)
Knowledge of US local and international labor law is a plus
