Job Description
We are seeking an experienced individual to help grow our structural practice in North Dakota. This position would be located at our Bismarck or Fargo, ND office and would primarily focus on in-state transportation projects but would also assist our structural team on a variety of projects throughout the Midwest. The position could be full-time or seasonal and would involve periodic travel to inspection sites with the majority being within the state.
The position would have the following primary responsibilities:
Assist with project pursuits/proposals and attend interviews as required.
Bridge safety inspections, load ratings, and report preparation.
Track and maintain project budgets and schedules.
Ensure SRF’s QC/QA procedures are maintained for all work.
Staff supervision.
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience in related field.
Certification as Bridge Safety Inspection Team Leader or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Previous bridge inspection experience with working knowledge of NBIS standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel periodically.
