D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Division IT Supervisor. The right candidate will provide computer (hardware and software), printer, copier, and phone support for the division.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide daily support for users on computer hardware/software, tablets, printers/copiers, desk phones and cell phones
Work with regional and corporate staff to meet the IT needs of the division
Monitor and perform basic troubleshooting of local enterprise resources, such as network and servers
Provide system accessibility to all users, with minimal downtime, including sales and construction offices
Set up systems at new and relocated sales offices and construction field offices, including workstations, Internet service and basic network and printing/scanning
Instruct users in basic use of standard applications, and field inquiries about procedures. Perform research when necessary
Manage hardware inventory, maintain IT areas/gear and perform regular end of lease computer replacements
Administer user accounts and groups on applicable systems. This includes requesting or setting up new users, making changes to user accounts and requesting termination of accounts upon employee separation
Enforce corporate IT policies and educate users regarding policies at the divisional level
Manage computer software and hardware inventory, including maintenance and upgrades and replacement when necessary. Work with vendors to procure necessary equipment and software
Train staff on all applications
Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly manages one or more employees in the IT Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
Two to three years related experience and/or training
Experience in a managerial or supervisory position
Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Preferred Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
Expected salary range: $80,000 - $90,000
